Copper plating mounting card

I’ve been experimenting with the idea of plating mounting card as a way to extend the life of collagraph plates. The process of plating the card works well and they appear to go through the press O.K. I have yet to ink one up.The plating process is slow, this plate took twelve hours. I’m planning to do some more work on textures and plating paper plates.

It’s really not as scary as it looks. Note the low readings on the bench power supply
