Exploring calligraphic mark making with electro Etch

At last, after ten months I have approval for my research into the development and use of Electro Etching and Electro Plating as a medium in printmaking. In this series of prints I have been exploring the potential for calligraphic mark making. The original drawings were transferred onto the plates using photo sensitive emulsion. The emulsion holds out really well against the electro etch and the initial proofing can be carried out with the emulsion still in place. Photo emulsion also works with saline sulphate.
