Sciamachy
Sciamachy is one of the instruments aboard ESA’s  environmental satellite, Envisat, it is a satellite spectrometer designed to measure sunlight, transmitted, reflected and scattered by the earth’s atmosphere or surface in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared wavelength region at the moderate spectra; resolution.
This meditation piece consists a  20 minute video installation and nine digital still images extracted from the video. The video installation is not a narrative with a beginning and end. It is to be viewed in the same manner as a photograph or painting, for as long as it captures the imagination.
